I am an ambitious aspiring Broadcast Journalist who seeks more than just the “story”. My secret weapon for success is being the best me I am able to be, seizing all opportunities and obstacles presented. I’ve learned over the years that judging a book by it’s cover only causes that of a missed opportunity and misreading.
My goal as a Broadcast Journalist is to capture life; to capture not just the moment, but the lesson; to be able to look at the older generation and tell them thank you for paving the way but I am going to take your footsteps even further.
I aspire to be more than a journalist, but a teacher and producer of knowledge. Using my skills in broadcasting I intend to advocate, promote civil rights movements, write, film and vocalize.
Often times people tell me my career choice is competitive, unattainable and I should come up with a back-up plan. But they are wrong, I will be the Oprah and Angela Davis of my generation because I have a heart willing to give to the world. I speak up for those whose voices that go unheard because media isn’t paying attention or just does not care. I REFUSE to have a back-up plan for MY DREAM. Reality is now not later.
My most distinguished blessing is my voice!
ANYTHING CAN BE ACHIEVED WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE BEHIND YOU.
***Thank you for your interest***
Genuinely,
Voice to the Voiceless.
